Nicky Kaplan Interiors is a full service design firm specializing in all aspects of interior architecture and design. Nicky draws on a rich background of international experiences which have included living in South Africa, Canada and both coasts of the USA. Nicky started her studies as an Economics major but realized that her love of design needed to become part of her lifelong career. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and has been practicing in all aspects of interior design since the mid 1990's. She spent 11 years of her career at HOK in Los Angeles and has been practicing on her own since 2012. Her experience includes high end residential, commercial office interiors, hotels, event spaces for Live Nation and most recently a restaurant for the Sprout Group. She has also had the opportunity to create beautiful environments for numerous non-profit organizations some of which include Goodwill Southern California, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Schools on Wheels and the Hollyrod Foundation. Nicky is also a LEED accredited professional and VP of Business Development for Anew, a non-profit whose mission is to provide environmental education to reduce the effects of climate change by extending the life cycle of office furniture, equipment and architectural materials. www.anewfound.org
